What is it?

ASL360-OnTour is a new paid-for service generating extra revenue by offering every passenger the best seat on the bus. This is achieved by delivering a Panoramic Streamed Video directly to their smart phones; such as iPhones and other mobile devices.

How does it work?
Miniature cameras are fitted to your vehicle. These can be in the form of a single panoramic camera mounted to the roof, or individual cameras mounted to the sides. These cameras are connected to a Control unit which processes the video and broadcasts wirelessly to mobile phones or iPods. An optional recording module allows the whole tour to be recorded onto solid-state flash memory. This can be copied and sold to passengers at the end of the tour.

What will your customer experience?
While on a city bus tour passenger have limited visibility of the points-of-interests around them; not all passengers will have window seat, on the right side and can see forward or rear-wards. The ASL360-OnTour will give your passengers the best seat on your bus tour, offering them a live panoramic streamed videotour on their mobile device.

They will need to download the ASL360-OnTour from Apple App store, direct from their phones. This will connect them wirelessly to the roof panoramic camera, giving them control of their viewing direction, allowing them to in zoom on the points-of-interest and capture pictures from any chosen direction.

During the tour, the whole route can be recorded and at the end, a video of the tour can be offered to customers to purchase. These can be produced by File-copy at the bus or the ticket office, given a reference number.
